Our culinary journey began in 1990 when our family arrived in the United States from Malaysia, bringing with us a passion for genuine flavors and cherished traditions. This passion led us to open our first restaurant, Seri Melaka, where guests experienced the vibrant tastes of Nyonya and Chinese cuisine—each dish prepared with heartfelt authenticity and a nod to our heritage.
Fresh Starts
In 2005, we embraced new horizons by launching Neo of Melaka, an establishment that expanded our culinary repertoire to include Japanese sashimi and sushi. As our love for diverse cuisine grew, we also began incorporating the vibrant spirit of Asian street food—a dynamic addition that brings bold flavors and creative twists straight from bustling marketplaces to our tables. For years until 2017, we proudly served the Tucson community, sharing our passion for innovative and authentic dishes while building a close-knit family of guests and friends.
Here and Now
Our story continued to evolve in 2014, when Audrey introduced Noodle Lab to the Boston Public Market. With her popular ramen and rice bowls, Audrey crafted a dining experience that gracefully marries traditional recipes with modern sensibilities. Although the pandemic prompted a necessary pause in 2022, we are thrilled to announce that Noodle Lab is back—ready to serve up the flavors you’ve missed and welcome new food lovers into our ongoing culinary adventure.
